Called Out
by Truth Carriers
I was called out, not by man but the Flame, Out of the world, out of the shame. I walked in lies 'til I heard His voice, Yahuah called, I made my choice. Now I walk in the ways they mock, Set apart, on the narrow rock. Let them laugh, let the proud shout loud, But I was called out, and I won’t bow down. I used to think the truth was soft, Sing the songs, but my soul was lost. Church on Sunday, pork on my plate, Feelin’ “saved” but full of hate. Then I opened the scrolls, and fire hit, Every verse tore lies I’d knit. I saw the Name, not J but Yah, Yahushua walked with perfect awe. He kept the Sabbath, He kept the feast, He crushed the serpent, not made peace. So I stepped out, I laid pride down, Tore my robe and kissed the crown. I lost friends when I chose this path, They mocked Torah, they laughed and laughed. Said I was legal, said I was bound, But I'm more free than I've ever found. No more idols, no more pride, No more holidays men designed. Now I wear fringes, guard my gates, Pray in secret, seek His face. I'm not perfect, but I obey, Fall and rise on His set-apart Way. They chose wide, I chose few, They chase culture, I chase Truth. I was called to cry aloud, Not to fit in with the crowd. This world praises what He hates, I preach judgment, not just grace. My life ain’t mine, it’s sealed by blood, Bought with a price, out from the mud. Yahushua reigns, He is the King, So I’ll rap scrolls and fear no thing. Let them ban, let them block my sound, Truth don’t die when men frown. So here I stand, full of breath, Preachin’ life and dodgin’ death.
