Food For A Lie
by Truth Carriers
It started with a bite… And now the whole world’s still swallowing lies. Food’s always been a battlefield… And they call you a Muslim… Just ‘cause you keep Yahuah’s Word. Yo, Let’s take it back to the garden, Genesis page, Where Satan flipped the script, unleashed the cage. Didn’t come with a sword, didn’t come with a gun, He came with a question: “Did Yahuah say… son?” Slithered in with fruit lookin’ good to eat, But laced that fruit with a deadly deceit. Sold ‘em death for dessert, rebellion for taste, And paradise fell, with food as the bait. Fast forward centuries, nations rise and fall, Same serpent still hissing behind the law. Selling pork chops like salvation’s in bacon, While the prophets keep warning, the world keeps fakin’. They say “Brother, why you actin’ so extreme? Why you skip the ham at the church cuisine?” But the truth’s still the truth, no matter who mocks, The serpent’s still feeding lies from Babylon’s stocks. Food for a lie, that’s how it began, Now they twist the commands to fit their plan. I’m not Muslim, I’m keeping His way, I’m following Yahusha, not church buffet. Food for a lie, ancient disguise, Same old serpent in modern ties. I ain’t judging, I’m spitting what’s true, If it’s clean in the Word, then it’s clean for you. See, the serpent’s clever, he’s a chef in disguise, Changing menus and doctrines to please the eyes. Says “Eat whatever, Yah don’t care no more,” While the prophets and apostles cry out from the floor. I’m not under bondage, I’m under the King, And His Word don’t flip for American dreams. But they call me a cultist, a heretic, weird, ‘Cause I won’t eat pig, and I live in fear… …of Yahuah alone, not men or their plates, I’d rather obey than just follow debates. ‘Cause grace ain’t permission to break His command, Yahusha kept Torah with nail-scarred hands. They say “Pray over bacon, it’s holy now,” But show me the verse that changed the vow. He made clean and unclean on purpose, no lie, And the serpent still whispers, “Did Yahuah say?…” Why? From Eden’s tree… To every table. The lie’s the same. “Eat… and disobey.” Now they look at me sideways like I’m from a mosque, When I quote Leviticus, they scoff and mock. I ain’t a Muslim, I’m a child of Yahuah, I’m just trying to walk like Yahusha taught. See, culture’s loud but the Word’s still plain, Don’t call me legalist, call me sane. I ain’t scared of the world thinkin’ I’m strange, I’m scared of the King whose Word don’t change. It ain’t about food, it’s about who reigns, It’s about who’s Master of your table and chains. If the serpent deceived with a single bite, Then I’ll watch what I eat if it keeps me right. I ain’t better than you, I’m just reading the text, Trying to avoid the same old hex. From Eden to now, the lie survives, That obedience to Yahuah don’t affect our lives. They say the Kingdom’s spiritual… But they still feed their flesh. They say Yahusha fulfilled it all… Then why’d He still keep the rest? So call me names. Call me extreme. But I’ll keep my plate clean… ‘Cause I’d rather hear “Well done…” Than taste another lie.
