Narrow Way

Wide is the road, crowded every day,
But only a few will ever choose the narrow way.

This world got highways, wide like the sea,
Neon signs promising you can do as you please.
But the Shepherd said, "Come, the way is tight,"
Not for the proud, just the broken who seek the light.
They want comfort, not a cross, pleasure, not pain,
But I count every loss for the sake of the Name.
Let them laugh, let them talk, let them call me a fool,
I'm staying set-apart, not ashamed of the rule.
Every day is a battle, but I won't run away,
Step by step, I walk the narrow way.

If it was easy, everyone would choose it,
But few wanna die to flesh and prove it.
I walk alone but I'm never by myself,
Yahuah is with me, forget the world's wealth.

Narrow is the way, few find the road,
Broad is the path that leads to the cold.
I'm walking with Yahusha, no turning around,
Step by step, let the old self drown.
The gate is tight, the path is rough,
But I'm pressing on, Yahuah is enough!

Crowds chasing comfort, echoing trends,
Mixing the holy and profane, making truth bend.
But I'm anchored in the Word, I won't trade my place,
Even if it means I'm rejected by my own race.
The prophets were lonely, the righteous were few,
Faithful through the fire, hearts tried and true.
Not here for approval, not here for applause,
I'd rather hear "well done" from Yahuah, not the mob.
My King said, "Deny yourself, carry your stake,"
I'd rather walk narrow than live for the fake.

This is not religion, this is real life,
A covenant walk, not just avoiding strife.
You cannot fool Yahuah, you cannot fake the call,
He sees every motive, He knows it all.
There's a way that seems right, but its end is decay,
Messiah paved the road, so I walk the narrow way.

Some chase recognition, numbers and trends,
But the kingdom is hidden, not found by friends.
Few wanna serve, even fewer wanna kneel,
But the last will be first, that's the kingdom's seal.
Yahusha washed feet, taught the way of the meek,
Said the gate is so narrow, you must truly seek.
Not everyone crying out will enter inside,
Only those who obey, with no secrets to hide.
Let them keep the wide road, easy and fast,
But the reward is the journey that forever will last.

Narrow is the way, few find the road,
Broad is the path that leads to the cold.
I'm walking with Yahusha, no turning around,
Step by step, let the old self drown.
The gate is tight, the path is rough,
But I'm pressing on, Yahuah is enough!

I remember the days I chased after more,
Tried to fit in with crowds, always keeping score.
But the emptiness followed, no matter the gain,
Until I surrendered, let go of my shame.
Now I walk where the path gets lonely and thin,
But Yahuah is my portion, my shelter within.
I see the world running, chasing their fate,
While I press through the thorns, through the narrow gate.

Let the world have its party, let the many go astray,
I'm walking with Yahusha, on the narrow way.
When storms start raging, I'll stand unashamed,
My eyes on the promise, my heart on the flame.

When the journey is over, and the story is told,
Let it be known, I never sold my soul.
I may stumble and trip, but I rise and I pray,
Help me, Yahuah, stay on the narrow way.
All my mistakes, You covered in grace,
Gave me new life, put a song in this place.
So I'll run with endurance, till the race is done,
The narrow way calls, let Your will be done.

Narrow is the way, few find the road,
Broad is the path that leads to the cold.
I'm walking with Yahusha, no turning around,
Step by step, let the old self drown.
The gate is tight, the path is rough,
But I'm pressing on, Yahuah is enough!

When the journey ends, and the path grows dim,
Let me stand at the gate, let me enter in.
Wide is the road, crowded every day,
But only a few will ever choose the narrow way.
